See-Through Record Player

Back in the good ol' days this things played music, I thought I'd make mine see-through. Pretty Basic stuff except for the record itself. To get the record I opened a new file and filled the screen with a black fill, then i used the ellipse select tool to cut a circle out. Then I pasted that to another new file and did the same thing to cut out the hole in the middle. Then I pasted it to the original file in the place i wanted it. The white at the bottom and on the record is supposed to be light reflecting off of the record or the glass of the record player.
